Andreas Myraune
Founder of Myraune Ventures
I grew up on a farm on Frosta in Trøndelag. Now I study in Chicago and work on a few small companies in Norway through Myraune Ventures.

I have always liked building things. Myraune Ventures is the small holding company where I keep the companies I work on.
It is not a fund. We start a few digital companies in markets we know, run them ourselves, and try to make each one pay its own way.
Beta Ads was the first. We place ads inside Twitch, Kick and YouTube livestreams, and we have been lucky to work with good brands and agencies in Norway, Sweden and Finland. A lot of it has been learning by doing, and plenty of things have not worked on the first try.
Most of what I know, I learned in sales jobs as a teenager. I heard no a lot more often than yes, and that taught me more than anything else.
What I work on

Where I'm from
Myraunet Gård on Frosta
I’m the oldest of three and grew up on the farm by the Trondheimsfjord. It goes back to 1557, when it was called Myrum. Today my family rents out the old barn for weddings and parties and runs RÅGO, a local food business.

Jobs along the way
I have worked in sales since I was a teenager. Not always with great results, but I learned a lot from every one of these.

Chicago and ANSA USA
I moved to Chicago to study business at North Park University. Being far from home has been good for me, and I have met a lot of kind people here.
Since April 2026 I am president of ANSA USA, the association for Norwegian students in the US. I lead the national board, work with the local chapters, and try to make student life a bit easier for everyone studying here.
